無聊時大腦的多巴胺會維持在低水平,而脂肪和含糖的食物能增加多巴胺分泌,垃圾食品通常含有脂肪和糖,於是我們在無聊時傾向進食垃圾食物。

為甚麼脂肪和含糖的食物有助增加多巴胺分泌?這與我們史前的祖先有關!

對洞穴時期的祖先來說,脂肪和糖不易獲得,是珍貴的食物,牠們進食這類食物時,大腦會獎勵牠們,增加多巴胺分泌讓牠們感到喜悅。

下次想食垃圾食物前找些開心的事情,那就可以戒掉垃圾食物吧!
